review many applications and
interview a select number of seniors 
from the Seneca Valley High School 
and award
3 $1500.00 scholarships and 1 votech scholarship.

The Cranberry Noon Rotary Club has designed a
community awards program that honors individuals whom have
exemplified this motto through service to the community
in one of the following categories.

     Senior Citizens
    Picnic Lunch & Township Tour 
     
    The last Tuesday in August we hold a picnic for about 100
    Cranberry Township senior citizens at the Lions Club Shelter in the park.

     Highway Cleanup
    Twice a year members of our club clean Route 19
    from Burger King
    to North Park Deck House.

     Bingo Cranberry Place
     
    In the spring and fall we conduct a bingo
    providing snacks, drinks and prizes

     Reading at Rowan School
    3 or 4 members volunteer in the spring and fall
    to read to grade school students.

     Rotary Gardens
     
    At the intersection of Route 19 and Dutilh Road. 
    From May through September members
    weed and feed the plants and shrubs. 
    Beep your horn if you're driving by and like what you see.

    Cranberry Rotary and Gardens Veterinary Hospital

    Dogs must be on a leash; cats must be in carriers.

     YMCA
    Our club donated to the building fund for the new YMCA.
    2008 Donated a water wheel chair
    for use at the YMCA pool.

     Holiday Food Certificates
    Each Thanksgiving our club donates food certificates
    to needy families in Cranberry Township. 
    These families are selected by
    Haine & Rowan grade school nurses
    and guidance counselors and
    the food certificates distributed the students.

     Bell Ringing Salvation Army
     We ring the bell in front of the Walmart from 6 to 9 pm.
    We also donate all the Holiday fines
    collected at our club meetings to Salvation Army.
