Cranberry Rotary Recognizes Dedicated Community Service
(June 14, 2010) - Based on the motto of Rotary International, "Service Above Self," the Cranberry Rotary held a community awards program on May 26 that honored individuals who have exemplified this motto through service to the community in one of the following categories: community service, business leader, public servant, educator, and student.
The Rotary has conducted the awards program for the past 12 years and created it to thank those selfless individuals who have sacrificed their time to better our community and those who live in it.
The winners for the 2010 Cranberry Rotary Awards Program are:
Dick Bach Lifetime Achievement Award Winner:

Business Leader of the Year: Drs. Erin and Nick Greiner, Cranberry Family Chiropractic
Educator of the Year: Michelle Follett, Rowan Elementary Kindergarten Teacher
Student of the Year: Will Kelleher, Seneca Valley Senior
Community Servant of the Year: Joella Baker, vice president of D&M Express
Public Servant of the Year: Dean Berkebile, retired Seneca Valley School Board Director
Rotarian of the Year: Dan Novakovich

Founded June 29, 1971, and sponsored by the Zelienople Rotary Club (founded March 3, 1924), the Cranberry Rotary Club has been meeting every Tuesday at noon at the Rose E. Schneider YMCA, and serving our community ever since.
